A CONNECTion Composition allows students to apply their transferred credits to specific programs at their chosen institution, generating a dynamic layout that transparently displays how each course satisfies degree requirements. By integrating program calendars and policies, CONNECTion maximizes credit applicability and offers clear, optimized pathways toward credential completion. To produce a CONNECTion, a CONNECT Composition is required. Please remember that CONNECTions only apply the transferable credits found via CONNECT compositions, which utilize uploaded transcripts to render solutions. As a result, if you only purchased an essential plan for the CONNECT Composition, you can only apply the credits deemed transferable based on the provided transcripts and the specified destination institution.
CRITICAL NOTICE – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: The Platform is currently operating as a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and proof-of-concept prototype. This means we are in the early stages of development with significant functional limitations that you must understand and accept before using our services.
Limited Institutional Scope: At this time, CONNECTed Academia Inc. specializes exclusively in transfers from St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology to the University of Windsor. This limitation is not merely a preference but a technical constraint – our algorithms, data structures, and analysis capabilities have been specifically designed and calibrated for these two institutions only. If you are seeking transfer analysis for any other institutions, our Platform cannot currently assist you, though you may request expansion through the process outlined in Section 12.3.
12.3 Requesting Expanded Institutional Coverage
We understand that many students may wish to analyze transfers between institutions other than St. Clair College and the University of Windsor. While our current MVP is limited to these two institutions, we are interested in expanding our coverage based on user demand and technical feasibility.
To request analysis capabilities for additional institutions, please email CONNECT-edu.ca@outlook.com with the subject line “Institutional Expansion Request.” Include the name of your current institution (origin), the institution you’re considering transferring to (destination), your program of study, and your anticipated transfer timeline. While we cannot guarantee that requested institutions will be added or provide specific timelines for expansion, we maintain a database of requests to guide our development priorities.
By purchasing or using any Composition, you agree to be bound by the following terms:
- All services and plans offered through CONNECTed Academia Inc. are licensed for use by a single individual only, specifically the person whose name appears on the order at the time of purchase.
- Services may not be transferred, sub-licensed, or shared with other individuals.
- Each analysis, composition, or academic mapping is customized to the named individual’s academic record, and is therefore non-transferable.
- Use of our services on behalf of another individual must be done by that individual in question, through a separate, paid account created in their name.
- Transactions found to violate the above terms and our service terms will result in an immediate closure of one’s account, and loss of any outstanding order credits. An order credit can be defined as an order that has not been used to produce any content.
- Order credits are valid five (5) months from the date of purchase. The exception to this rule are Explorer plans, which have an unlimited amount of order credits, but are only valid up to sixty (60) days from the date of purchase.
